I visited with my Ward (I’ve been his guardian for 6 years at this same facility) approximately a week or two ago. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the nursing home and even mentioned it to one of the caregivers. I’m in a lot of facilities and always take note of such things. It appears Cardinal Nursing Home has updated their building with fresh paint, new floors and it was again, very clean. Thanks for ensuring a clean and pleasant place for our precious elderly.
After three weeks of bites I personally checked her mattress and found bed bugs!!! Grateful to know what was biting her however very upset with the neglect we experienced from the staff and directors at the facility. Upon discovery the bed bugs I was given a roll of trash bags and a check list on what I needed to do before Arrow would come to spray for bed bugs!!! Two months later we are still dealing with bugs in her room. We call to complain and phone calls are not returned.
